Quilt Design Wall Fabric Black

Black Quilt Design Wall Fabric from Hot Chocolate Quilt Company is a specifically designed  fabric to help your fabric and quilt blocks stick to the wall without pins.

It comes in many different sizes, 72 x 96, 94 x 96, 96 x 108 or 96 x 130. 

This is a Cotton/ Polyester fabric.

Design Wall Instructions
 Design wall fabric is the perfect palette to enhance the colors of all your beautiful quilt blocks.  

This is best when installed as a permanent feature wall. I used push pins in the sizes 7/16 and 7/8 and alternated the sizes. Check the images in the listing. 

You can also add a wooden border around the edges to finish it off. (made from materials at any hardware store). I used 1x4 inch MDF. I then painted it with Bright Magenta Apple Barrel Paint. 

If you choose to add a wooden Border do it before installing the Design wall to the wall.

Permanent Installation Instructions. 

You will need:

Odif 505 Spray & Fix Temporary Fabric adhesive
Rubber Mallet
Needle Nose pliers ( to hold on to the push pins will pounding them into the wall)
Decorative tacks any size ( I used 7/16 and 7/8)

It is pretty simple. Installation goes better if you have a friends.
Measure your wall, all 4 sides.
Cut the Design wall fabric to fit your wall.
Place the shiny side against the wall.
Spray a light mist of 505 Spray glue on the wall.
Let the glue get tacky.
Starting in an upper corner position your Design Wall and press down on the fabric, and smooth out as you go.
Add tacks around the edges to hold in place. Finish placing the tacks after all the Design Wall Fabric is in place.

This no pin design wall allows you to lay out your quilt blocks without needing pins.

You may use a lint roller to clean threads off your Quilt Design wall fabric. Use a roller not a brush.
